The future of E-racing sports and education combined
We are working with one of the best
We educate the younger generation about electric technology, empowering them to create product from scratch while at the same time leveraging STEAM methodology.
EV mobility is the future, and there is no getting around that. The leap forward opens the gap and need for specialist that have to be trained and obtain at least basic knowledge. At the same time the learning process at schools had be constantly re-shaped in order to be more engaging for students. Combining both tendencies we are presenting Kinetik EduКartGo. A Learning platform that enables students to assemble an electric go-kart from scratch while at the same studying different disciplines related to the project by STEAM methodology. You can check them below.
EduKartGo develops the foundations and basic knowledge for electrical and embedded engineering. Students will have to assemble a battery pack and connect it to the controller and electrical engine. They will also have to install BMS modules and other additional monitoring systems.
You will receive you STEAM e-kart kit on separate parts that has to be assembled together on a chassis. With tools provided by us, students will develop their mechanic skills and knowledge by assembling steering components, mounting body kits, braking systems, engine components, etc.
EV and green mobility is the future of transportation and electric mobility. By combining theory and practice, students involved with the Kinetik STEAM e-kart project are gathering knowledge and competences of the foundations of electric powered engines and propulsion
The controller used in the electric engine block is with integrated open software platform, and its settings and performance can be modified with software development competences.
Some of the parts and modules of the electric STEAM go-kart kit, such as the battery cases, kill switch box or the electric engine case are designed to be 3D printed. We are providing with ready to use/edit stl. files which can be either modified or directly printed.
Not all students should be engineering geeks. Kinetik STEAM e-kart is not limited to be aimed only at students with tech competences but to ones with interest in visual arts as well. They can learn skills from designing stickers to cover the bumpers to videography and digital marketing skills to promote and showcase the process of the e-kart assembly.
Electric engine and Controller with open source software
Educational curriculum for teachers and students adapted to the specific educational system
Needed instruments for assembly included in the package
Safety first engineered
Low carbon emissions and focused on sustainability and green technologies
Low voltage electrical system
Facilitating student championship race among all institutions that have Kinetik STEAM go-kart
Kinetik EduKartGo was engineered with safety first in mind. The electrical system was intentionally designed to be low voltage with 48V voltage of the cells in the battery pack. It uses a “LiFePO4” battery pack known for its advanced safety features. A thermal management system is integrated to regulate the battery temperature to prevent overheating. A safe disconnection switch from the power source is also integrated. There’s a protective shield between the battery and the driver. The electric go-kart has a built-in safety system to ensure electrical safety. The battery pack has several safety measures, including:
Monitoring the charging process;
Using a fuse for safe charging;
Smart charger with extra safety features;
Smart Battery Management System (BMS) for continuous monitoring;
Protection against overvoltage and undervoltage.
